Easy Sage Stuffing

8 cups
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1/2 cup onion (chop fine)
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped
  • 8 cups  dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon dry sage


Methods/steps

Melt the butter in a skilet. Stir in onion and celery cooking over low heat until the onion is soft. Add the mixture to the crumbs and remaining ingredients.

If stuffing a turkey, use a meat thermometer and cook until stuffing reaches an internal temperature of 165 F

If cooking seperate - bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350 F for 30 to 40 minutes.

Will stuff a large turkey.
