Green Onion and Parsley Hummus
Description
A little twist on the traditional version of hummus. The green onion and cayenne pepper give it a little heat, the lemon gives it a little tang.
Ingredients
- 1 cup parsley
- 6 green onions sliced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 2 cans garbanzo beans
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin
- Olive oil to smooth out
Methods/steps
- In a food processor add the parsley and green onion. Process. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth. Add olive oil until desired consistency is reached.
Additional Tips
Serve with pita or veggies. This makes a good size amount. For smaller amount cut recipe in half.
